Notes:
Born in Prussia and immigrated to the US. He met and married Catherine Keller who was
almost 30 years his junior. Their first four children were born in Washington, Ohio. They
moved to Wisconsin before 1868 as their next three children were born there. Sometime after
1873 they moved to Alabama as their last two children were born in St. Florian.  He died
soon thereafter at the age of 70.

Born in Prussia, immigrated to the U.S. in 1854 at the approximate age of 16. Married
John Noggler and had seven children before moving to Alabama. John died when her ninth
child was just an infant.  Then on November 7, 1880 married Lorence Specker, whose first
wife Cecelia and their infant child died in July, 1880.  They  had a daughter, Katherina
(b. 1883). Lorence died on Nov. 28. 1901 and was buried in St. Michael's Church Cemetery,
one row up from John Noggler.   Catherine was 63 at the time.  She then moved in with her
oldest son, Anthony, as indicated in the 1910 Federal Census.  She died in 1916 of
consumption, at the age of 78.
